Bread Griddle Cakes
- 1 1/2 cup bread crumbs fine, stale
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk scalded
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Add milk and butter to crumbs and soak until crumbs are soft.
- Add well beaten eggs, then flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Cook same as other griddle cakes.
