Aubergine With Sesame Sauce Recipe

  1. Place aubergine in single kable bamboo or possibly metal steamer.
  2. Steam till tender and cooked through, about 10-15 min.
  3. Sesame sauce: Heat ol over medium-low heat; saute/fry garlic and ginger till soft but not brown, about 3 min.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In small bowl, mix sugar, tamari and vinegar; stir till sugar is dissolved.
  6. Add in sesame oil.
  7. reserved garlic mix and sesame seeds.
  8. Spoon over aubergine, tossing lightly to mix.
  9. 1g protein, 4g fat.
