Smoked Turkey Recipe
- 3 quart. water
- 1 c. Morton Tender Quick
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. reg. salt
- 1 tbsp. liquid smoke for every pound of turkey (takes at least one 4 oz bottle)
- Mix all ingredients together in large container.
- Poke turkey with meat fork to make holes.
- Soak turkey in solution 12 to 14 hrs (up to 24 hrs).
- If turkey isn't completely covered with solution be sure to turn it several times.
- Drain well.
- Bake turkey at 350 degrees for 15 min for every lb.

- Not too long or possibly it will dry out.
