Gramm's Meat Pie Recipe
- 1 double crust pie crust
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean grnd beef
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. mushroom soup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 lg. potato
- Prepare pie crust, cut in half and fit in pie plate.
- In large skillet fry beef breaking it up with fork till mealy.
- Add in onion and continue cooking till onion is soft.
- Add in salt, pepper and paprika.
- Add in mushroom soup, water and cook till blended.
- Cover and let cold.
- Put filling in pie crust.
- Peel potato and slice very thin.
- Place potatoes over filling proportionately.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper to taste over potatoes.
- Add in top crust.
- Slit 5 holes and bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour.
- Serve warm with veggies.
