Onion and Poppy Seed Focaccia

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Oil baking sheet.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in medium skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add onion and saute until golden, about 7 minutes.
  5. Cool.
  6. Place dough on floured surface.
  7. Fold dough in half.
  8. Using rolling pin, roll out dough to 10x8-inch rectangle.
  9. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
  10. Drizzle 1 tablespoon oil over dough.
  11. Spread onion atop dough.
  12. Sprinkle with Parmesan and poppy seeds; sprinkle lightly with salt.
  13. Bake until bread is golden, about 18 minutes.
  14. Cut into pieces and serve warm or at room temperature.
