Maryland Fresh Peach Pie Recipe
- 7 ripe peaches
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 baked 9 inch pie shell
- Whipped cream
- Peel and remove pits from 3 peaches.
- Dice into small pcs.
- Add in sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and water.
- Cook in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly till thick and clear.
- Peel and pit remaining peaches, slice and toss slices with lemon juice.
- Place in pie shell.
- Pour cooled peach mix over the peach slices.
- Chill.
- Serve with whipped cream.
