  2. Popular in Russia where it's called Kasha, this hearty style side dish is prefect for a hurry-up meal.

  4. Mix buckwheat kernels and egg in ungreased 10-inch skillet.
  5. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, till kernels are seperated and brown.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients; reduce heat.
  7. Cover and simmer about 5 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed and buckwheat kernels are tender.
  8. Makes 6 servings.
