Cheesy Ham and Potatoes

  1. Layer potatoes and ham in a greased 9x13 pan.
  2. Potatoes, ham, potatoes, ham.
  3. Melt butter in a large sauce pan.
  4. Add your spices and flour.
  5. Making sure that you whisk the flour in well, so that there are no lumps.
  6. After flour is cooked down, add your milk one cup at a time.
  7. Wait for it to thicken before you add the next cup.
  8. Once the milk has thickened, add in the shredded chese amd continue stirring until its all melted.
  9. Pour your cheese mix over your potatoes and ham.
  10. Be careful that you don't overflow your pan.
  11. Place in oven, uncovered at 375 for 1-1 1/2hrs or until potatoes are tender.
  12. **You may need to place your pan on a large cookie sheet to catch anything that may bubble over.
  13. Let it set for at least 10min.
  14. This will allow it to set up a little and keep you from burning your mouth.
