Midnight Chocolate Sauce
- 4 squares semisweet chocolate
- 14 cup water (or coffee)
- 14 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons liqueur, of your choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Melt chocolate with water over LOW heat; blend until mixture is completely smooth.
- Add sugar.
- Bring to a boil over MED.
- heat and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add liqueur and butter.

- this makes a small quantiity - about 3/4 cup.
