Easy! Refreshing Japanese-Style Sandwich: Shiso and Egg
- 2 slice White bread (from an 8-slice loaf)
- 1 Margarine or butter
- 1 tiny amount Yuzu pepper or wasabi (to taste)
- 1 Boiled egg
- 7 Shiso leaves
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Spread a margarine or butter and a small amount of yuzu pepper or wasabi on the bread.
- Put shiso leaves on two slices of the bread.
- Boil about 3 shiso leaves and mince the (boiled) egg.
- Mix together with the ingredients.
- Spread the mixture from Step 2 onto the bread from Step 1 until used completely up.
- Cut the sandwich into easy-to-eat slices and enjoy!
- If you don't like crusts, cut them off.
