Pumpkin Applesauce Pie
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 34 cup pumpkin
- 34 cup applesauce
- 34 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon mace, scant
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 23 cups evaporated milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- Mix eggs, pumpkin, applesauce and sugar together.
- Add salt, cinnamon, mace, vanilla and evaporated milk.
- Pour into pastry shell.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake 45 minutes more, or until a knife inserted in filling comes out clean.
