Individual Fruit Mince Trifles
- 410 g jar fruit mince Target 10 ea For $10.00 thru 02/06
- 440 g can pie apple
- 1 x 20 cm unfilled sponge, cut into 2cm cubes
- 4 cups thick vanilla custard
- 250 ml PHILADELPHIA Cream For Desserts, double cream alternative
- 100 g CADBURY Milk Baking Chocolate, grated
- WARM the fruit mince and apple gently in a small saucepan until the suet is melted and the mixture is glossy.
- Allow to cool.
- PLACE cubes of sponge into the base of 8 serving glasses, top each with 1/2 cup of the custard.
- Spoon the fruit mixture evenly over the custard and top with a dollop of PHILLY.
- Decorate with grated chocolate and chill.
- HANDY TIP: This dessert is easily made the day before.
- Splash the sponge with a little brandy or rum if you desire.
