Individual Fruit Mince Trifles

  1. WARM the fruit mince and apple gently in a small saucepan until the suet is melted and the mixture is glossy.
  2. Allow to cool.
  3. PLACE cubes of sponge into the base of 8 serving glasses, top each with 1/2 cup of the custard.
  4. Spoon the fruit mixture evenly over the custard and top with a dollop of PHILLY.
  5. Decorate with grated chocolate and chill.
  6. HANDY TIP: This dessert is easily made the day before.
  7. Splash the sponge with a little brandy or rum if you desire.
