Taco Pizza

  1. Note: For the crust I use Rees pizza crust recipe but you can use your favorite homemade or store bought.
  2. Rees pizza crust recipe makes 2 pizzas.
  3. The ingredients listed are the amounts for one pizza.
  4. There is enough sauce for 2 pizzas though!
  5. Brown the ground beef and add taco seasoning and water.
  6. Simmer until liquid is absorbed.
  7. For the sauce, in a blender, combine tomato soup, onion and jalapeno.
  8. Blend until smooth.
  9. (Since I use Rees pizza crust recipe, I bake the crust at 500 degrees F for about 8 minutes before I put the toppings on.
  10. This makes for a crispier crust.
  11. Follow the directions for the crust you choose to use.)
  12. Spread sauce on pizza.
  13. Top with taco meat and mozzarella cheese.
  14. Reduce oven temperature to 400 degrees F and bake for 812 minutes.
  15. Top pizza with shredded lettuce, tomato, taco cheese, and tortilla chips.
  16. Serve with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, cilantro, or whatever you like!
