Sesame Baked Salmon
- 17 ounces, weight Salmon Fillet
- 1 cup Sesame Seeds
- Cooked Rice, To Serve
- 2 Oranges
- 1/2 teaspoons Ginger, grated
- 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Mustard
- Cut the salmon fillet into pieces that are about 6cm wide.
- Place in a deep heat-safe bowl.
- Set aside.
- For the marinade, cut the oranges in half and squeeze the orange juice into a small pan.
- Add the remaining marinade ingredients.
- Mix well and place over medium heat.
- Bring the marinade to a boil then pour it over the salmon pieces.
- Put dish into the refrigerator and let it marinate for no more than 2 hours.
- Remove salmon from the fridge and pull it out of the marinade.
- Put the sesame seeds on a cutting board and roll the salmon pieces in the seeds.
- Place into a greased deep roasting tin.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20-30 minutes.
- Serve the salmon with rice!
