Granita Di Caffe

  1. Add coffee to sugar in small bowl; stir until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Pour into 8-inch square pan.
  4. Freeze 1-1/2 hours or until almost firm.
  5. Break into small pieces with fork.
  6. Return to freezer; freeze 3 hours or until firm.
  7. Break into small pieces with fork just before serving; spoon into 4 chilled dessert glasses.
  8. Garnish as desired.
