Layered Pumpkin Pie
- 1 packages (8oz) cream cheese - softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 unbaked pie shell or make your own 9"
- 1 can 16oz. solid pack pumpkin
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar -packed
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg( I used pumpkin pie spice)
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter- softened
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Have pie shell ready.
- Then in mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add 1/4 c. Granulated sugar, vanilla mix well.
- Add.
- 1 egg; beat until smooth.
- Spread over bottom of pie shell.
- Chill 30 min.
- Oven should be at 350 .
- In mixing bowl, beat next 8 ing.
- Until smooth.
- Carefully pour over the cream cheese filling.
- Cover edges of pie with foil.
- Bake at 350 for 30 min.
- Remove foil; bake for 25 min longer.
- Meanwhile mix the flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly, stir in pecans.
- Sprinkle over top of pie.
- Bake 10-15 min.more or until knife comes out clean.
- Cool.
- Store in fridge.
