Simple For Toddlers Soboro (Crumbled) Tofu
- 1 block Firm tofu
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tsp Miso (optional)
- 1 tbsp Water
- Once you have drained the tofu, mash it with your hands.
- Cook the tofu till the moisture evaporates in a frying pan coated very lightly with oil.
- Stir fry until it has a soboro-like crumbly texture.
- Mix the ingredients together and then microwave them for 30 seconds.
- Add this into the frying pan coating the tofu.
- Stir fry on low to medium heat until the moisture evaporates.
- Once you're stir fried it until it's crumbled, it's ready!
- Mix it with rice and then top with a beaten egg.
- You can store leftovers in the freezer by separating them into 1 meal portions.
