Au Gratin Potatoes
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled sliced thin
- 1 cup milk
- 1 12 cups grated white American cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 14 cup sour cream
- 2 wedges laughing cow herb cheese spread
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Use 1 tbls butter to coat a 1 quart casserole dish.
- put milk, sour cream, butter, cheese wedges, cornstarch in small sauce pan, heat until just before boiling, stiring occasionaly.
- Layer potatoes and grated cheese in casserole until all are used.
- Pour milk mixture over potatoes.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 45 minutes.
- Uncover bake another 20 minutes until potatoes are cooked and top is bubbly and brown.
- Let set for about 8 minutes before serving.
