Chili Marinated Steak
- 4 beef steaks, rump or 4 sirloin
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 red chili pepper, finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon of fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Season the steaks on both sides wih salt and pepper.
- place the marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the steaks to the marinade, coating them on all sides.
- Cover and chill until required.
- Remove the steaks from the fridge 30 mins before cooking.
- Five mins before cooking, preheat the broiler or a griddle pan or a george foreman grill.
- Cook the steaks for 5 minutes in the GF grill or 10-12 mins each side under the broiler, or to your own taste.
