Vickys Fruit Scones, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 8 / 230C / 450F and line a baking sheet with parchment
  2. Combine the flour & baking powder in a bowl
  3. Cut in the butter and rub between your fingers until the flour resembles breadcrumbs
  4. Mix in the apple and dried fruit and form a soft dough, adding the milk as necessary
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Turn the trays and bake a further 8 minutes until lightly golden
  7. Cool on a wire rack
