Jimbo's Spicy Sausage Soup
- 48 fl. oz. tomato juice
- 48 fl. oz. water
- 1-1/4 lb. diced tomatoes
- 1 fl. oz. vegetable oil
- 1 md. onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 4 carrots, diced
- 1 lb. broccoli and cauliflower florettes
- 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp. thyme
- 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp. oregano
- 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp. basil
- 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp. salt
- 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp. pepper
- 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp. garlic powder
- 3 to 4 tbsp. chili powder
- 4 spicy sausages
- 4 oz. sugar
- Cook vegetables lightly in oil.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
