Chocolate Mousse Torte
- 37 vanilla wafer cookies
- 4 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
- 2 (4 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 8 ounces whipped topping
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 14 cup sugar
- Stand 16 wafers around inside edge to a 9-inch round pan lined with plastic warp.
- Melt 3 chocolate squares as directed on package.
- Beat pudding mixes and 2 cups milk with whisk, 2 minutes.
- Add melted chocolate,.
- Mix well.
- Stir in 1 cup whipped topping,.
- Pour into prepared pan, Beat cream cheese, sugar, and remaining milk with mixer until blended.
- Stir in 1 cup of the remaining whipped topping.
- Spread over pudding.
- Top with remaining wafers.
- Refrigerate 3 hours.
- Meanwhile, shave reamining chocolate square into curls.
- Invert torte onto plate.
- Remove pan and plastic wrap.
- Top torte with remaining whipped topping and chocolate curls.
