Triple Almond Torte

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine all pastry ingredients in bowl.
  3. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up sides of ungreased 9-inch springform pan.
  5. Combine all filling ingredients in bowl.
  6. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  7. Pour filling into crust.
  8. Bake 30-40 minutes or until center is set and deep golden brown.
  9. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
  10. Garnish with sliced almonds and powdered sugar, if desired.
  11. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.
