German/Bavarian Chopped Green Salad Mit Borretsch

  1. Wash the lettuce and watercress well and spin dry.
  2. Prepare the dressing in a non-reactive container and set aside.
  3. Best prepared at least 1 hour in advance.
  4. Combine the salad ingredients together in a large salad bowl with the dressing.
  5. Toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with additional borage leaves and flowers.
  7. fyi: A sprinkle of freshly grated black pepper tasted really good on the salad.
