Grandma D's Spaghetti
- 2 jars of spaghetti sauce
- 1 28oz can tomato puree
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp garlic salt
- 1 can or fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
- 1 lb ground italian sausage
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1 raw potato shavings
- 1 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup red cooking wine
- 1 Angel hair rocks, but whatever works too
- Mix all ingredients for the sauce.
- Keep at 250-300 degrees for several hours or all day.
- Just keep adding some water to keep it at the consistency of your liking.
- Can be done in a large crockpot, in oven or on the stove.
- Roll meatballs into small 1 inch size balls.
- Cook stovetop in Olive oil until dark brown.
- Remove and put in sauce.
- The longer time in the sauce the better.
