Sour Cream Brown Butter Cookies Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease cookie sheets.
  3. In a 3 qt mixer bowl combine all cookie ingredients except lowfat sour cream and pecans.
  4. Beat at low speed 2-3 min cleaning sides of bowl often till well mixed.
  5. Stir in lowfat sour cream and pecans.
  6. Drop by rounded tsp.
  7. 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 8-12 min or possibly till edges are lightly browned.
  9. Cold and spread with Brown Butter Frosting.
  10. Frosting; In saucepan heat butter over medium heat, stirring constantly till butter is golden (3-5 min).
  11. Add in remaining ingredients and stir till smooth.
  12. Yield: Approximately 5 dozen.
