Diet Chicken Cacciatore Recipe
- 3 whole chicken breasts, split
- 1 Bermuda onion, cut into 6 slices
- 1 env. (1 1/2 ounce.) spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- Brown chicken breast in a large non-stick skillet; arrange in single layer in an 8-oz shallow casserole.
- Top each breast with an onion slice.
- Blend spaghetti sauce mix into drippings in skillet; stir in tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Spoon around chicken breast and onions.
- Cover casserole.
- Bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour or possibly till chicken is tender.
- Makes 6 servings (117 calories each).
