Spicy Simmered Shirataki Noodles and Shimeji Mushrooms

  1. Boil the shirataki noodles (or simply rinse in hot water) and cut into easy-to-eat lengths.
  2. Shred the shimeji mushrooms.
  3. Add dashi stock and seasoning ingredients to a pot, bring to a boil, and add shirataki noodles and the shimeji mushrooms.
  4. Add red chili peppers and simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes, then serve.
