Pocket Cheeseburgers
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup dry Italian-style bread crumbs
- 6 Tbsp. A.1. Original Sauce, divided
- 2 tsp. dried minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tsp. KRAFT Prepared Horseradish
- 4 sesame seed hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, cut into 4 slices
- Heat broiler.
- Mix meat, bread crumbs, 3 Tbsp.
- steak sauce, onion and garlic powder just until blended; shape into 8 (1/4-inch-thick) patties.
- Mix cheese, remaining steak sauce and horseradish.
- Top each of 4 patties with 1/4 cup cheese mixture.
- Cover with remaining patties; pinch edges together to seal.
- Broil patties, 4 inches from heat, 7 to 9 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Fill buns with burgers, lettuce and tomatoes.
