Turkey Feta Burgers with Chipotle Lime Mayo
- 1- 1/4 pound Ground Turkey, 87/13
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 3/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 13 cups Feta (crumbled)
- Olive Oil, For Skillet
- 4 Onion Rolls, Toasted
- 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Chipotle Puree, See Note
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
- 1/2 whole Lime, Juiced
- In a large bowl mix turkey, Worcestershire sauce, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper with a fork until just blended.
- Mix in feta and form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Drizzle patties with a bit of olive oil and set aside while you heat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
- Once hot add the burgers and cook until cooked through, 4-5 minutes per side.
- Cut rolls in half and drizzle with olive oil; brown in a skillet over medium heat.
- Serve burgers on rolls with chipotle spread, a slice of onion and dill pickle slices, if desired.
- I actually like to add a little coarse grain mustard and ketchup on the bottom roll.
- For the chipotle mayo, combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Note: I puree a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and store in the refrigerator to use in various sauces and recipes.
