Perfect Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Beat eggs lightly in medium bowl.
  3. Add corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt; stir until well blended.
  4. Stir in pecan halves.
  5. Pour into pastry shell.
  6. Bake 15 min.
  7. Reduce oven temperature to 350F.
  8. Continue baking 30 to 35 min.
  9. or until pie is lightly browned and completely puffed across the top.
  10. Cool completely.
