El Dorado Casserole

  1. Brown ground beef, add onion, garlic salt and tomato sauce after you spoon off any grease.
  2. Simmer for 5 and turn off heat.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Mix together sour cream, cottage cheese, green chilies, olives.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Crumble tortilla chips, enough to make a couple cups worth.
  7. In casserole dish, spread a layer of crumbled chips, enough to cover the bottom.
  8. I also spray the pan with Pam before I start the casserole.
  9. Then add a layer of meat mixture, then a layer of the chili/sour cream mixture.
  10. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  11. Repeat layers.
  12. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
