Golden Nugget Meatballs

  1. Combine ground
  2. beef,
  3. bread
  4. crumbs,
  5. green pepper, dry mustard, garlic salt, salt, pepper, egg and catsup;
  6. shape into 16 balls (3 to 4 tablespoons per ball).
  7. Place a cheese cube in center,
  8. shaping
  9. meat
  10. around.
  11. Brown in lard;
  12. pour off drippings.
  13. Add
  14. tomato sauce, cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes. Remove
  15. cover
  16. and
  17. continue simmering 5 to 10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
