Beef Ground Steak, Marsala Recipe
- 2 lbs. extra lean grnd beef
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c. dry Marsala
- About 30 min before serving:
- On waxed paper, shape grnd beef into 8 oval patties; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- In 12" skillet over medium heat, cook patties and onion till patties are browned on both sides, about 5 min.
- Add in mushrooms, Marsala and 1/4 tsp.
- salt.
- Reduce heat to low and cook 10 min, stirring occasionally, and turning patties once.
- To serve, pour sauce over patties.
- Yield: 8 servings.
