Candy Bar Cupcakes
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk, full fat
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/3 cup chopped peanuts
- Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy for THREE minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time until incorporated.
- Add in vanilla.
- In a large bowl combine dry ingredients.
- Mix to combine.
- Get milk ready.
- Add half the dry ingredients add mix one minute.
- Add half the milk, mix another minute.
- Add rest of dry and mix then rest of milk.
- Beat together until just incorporated.
- Preheat oven to 375F fahrenheit.
- Prepare 18 paper cupcake liners in muffin tins.
- Add battery to 2/3 way full in cupcake liners.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Let cool on a rack while starting frosting.
- Mix butter and peanut butter until smooth.
- Add in powdered sugar and beat until incorporated.
- Mix in heavy cream until combined.
- Once cupcakes have cooled, frost the cupcakes.
- Sprinkle with chopped peanuts, and enjoy.
- I also decorate with mini snickers and drizzle chocolate syrup over each cupcake at times.
