Mrs. F's Barbequed Ribs
- 5 lbs back spareribs, cut into serving pieces
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 14 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 13 cup soy sauce
- 14 cup vinegar (regular or cider)
- 14 cup chili sauce
- 12 cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 18 teaspoon garlic powder
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place ribs in a large roasting pan and bake, uncovered, for 3/4 hour.
- Drain off all drippings.
- Mix sauce ingredients and pour over ribs.
- Marinate ribs in sauce in turned off oven for 3-4 hours.
- Bake uncovered 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hrs longer, turning and basting every 20 minutes until tender and richly browned.
