Delicious Turkey Havarti Cheese Mushroom Burger
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 Tablespoon Poultry Seasoning
- 2 whole Shallots, Finely Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 5 whole Mushrooms, Minced Finely
- 4 ounces, weight Dill Havarti Cheese, Diced 1/4 Inch Cubes
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 18 teaspoons Ground Pepper
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil Plus A Drizzle For The Meat Mixture
- Combine the ground turkey, seasoning, shallots, mustard, mushrooms, cheese, salt and pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Form into 6 patties.
- Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- When hot, cook the patties, flipping over to brown on both sides.
- Just a few minutes on each side should do it.
- Serve while hot!
- *We eat this without the buns, its lighter and healthier, but would be delicious with hamburger buns and dressed however you like your burgers.
- *If you do not have poultry seasoning use 1 1/2 teaspoons of dried sage, 1/2 teaspoon of marjoram and 1/2 teaspoon of thyme and 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper.
