Crispy Fried Fish Recipe
- 1 pound fish fillets
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. cool water
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- Shortening (for deep fat frying)
- Season fillets with salt.
- Combine flour, sugar and 1/2 tsp.
- salt.
- Combine egg, water and oil; add in to flour mix.
- Beat smooth.
- Dip fish in batter.
- Fry for 5 min, or possibly till golden.
