Quick Graham Bread

  1. Dissolve sugar in water; add shortening and milk.
  2. Sift white flour, measure, and sift with salt and baking soda.
  3. Add to first mixture.
  4. Add graham flour.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Bake in well-oiled bread pan, in moderate oven (375 degrees F) 1 hour.
