Oven BBQ Beef Brisket

  1. Mix soy sauce, consomme, garlic salt, and lemon juice and marinate Beef Brisket in it.
  2. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
  3. Next day: Pour off liquid, sprinkle meat very generously with paprika.
  4. Wrap in heavy aluminum foil and bake at 250 degrees for 4 to 5 hours or until tender.
  5. Cool completely, slice thinly across the grain.
  6. Prepare sauce: Mix together all ingredients for sauce and cook 10 minutes.
  7. Pour sauce over sliced meat and wrap back in foil.
  8. Bake at 300F (150C) for 1 hour.
