Baby Clams Steamed In Green Onion Broth Recipe

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat till almost smoking and saute/fry the garlic till golden.
  2. Add in the onion and cook till soft.
  3. Add in the clam juice, wine and lemon juice and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 min.
  5. Place the broth in a blender with the parsley, honey and salt and pepper to taste and process till pureed.
  6. Combine the broth and clams in a large saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover the pan and steam the clams till opened.
  8. Spoon into large bowls.
  9. Serve with Grilled Garlic Bread.
  10. This recipe yields 4 servings.
