Sausage Stuffing (For Turkey) Recipe
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon crushed sage
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. minced celery
- 8 c. soft bread cubes
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- Add in 1 lb.
- of bulk pork sausage, crumbled and browned, with the remaining ingredients.
- You can substitute some of the sausage fat for the butter.
- Stuff into the turkey and bake as usual.
