Pineapple Dessert Recipe
- 2 c. soda cracker crumbs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 6 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 can pineapple pie filling
- 1 lg. container Cold Whip
- Crumble crackers by hand.
- Beat egg whites till stiff, not dry, with baking pwdr; add in sugar, nuts, cracker crumbs and vanilla.
- Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 22 min at 325 degrees.
- Let cold.
- Spread Cold Whip over entire surface.
- Drizzle pie filling over Cold Whip.
- Let set in refrigerator overnight before serving.
- Dessert keeps well in refrigerator.
