Tuna Or Chicken Roll Ups Recipe
- 1/2 onion, finely minced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 (8 ounce.) can water chestnuts, diced
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream or possibly plain yogurt (I use yogurt)
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. Swiss cheese or possibly Mozzarella, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 c. diced chicken or possibly tuna (I use tuna)
- 2 pkg. crescent rolls
- Saute/fry onion and butter; add in diced water chestnuts and cook for about 3 min.
- Remove from heat and add in lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt, bread crumbs, beaten egg, cheese, pepper and tuna or possibly chicken.
- Roll up in crescent roll, starting at wide end.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
- Preparation: 15 min.
- Cooking: 15 min.
- Very easy recipe.
- Yields 16 sandwiches.
