Deep Dish Tuna Pie Recipe
- Instant mashed potatoes for 4 persons or possibly servings
- 2 cans cream of celery soup
- 1 can (1 lb.) peas
- 2 cans (6 1/2 or possibly 7 ounce. each) tuna in vegetable oil
- 1 can (8 ounce.) onions, liquid removed
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
- Prepare potatoes according to package directions.
- Turn soup into a saucepan.
- Drain liquid from peas and add in to the soup; blend well.
- Stir in peas, tuna and onions.
- heat to serving temperature, stirring occasionally.
- Turn into a 1 qt casserole.
- Spoon mashed potatoes around edge and brush with melted butter.
- Bake in a 400 degree oven 10 to 12 min, or possibly till potatoes are lightly browned.
- Serves 4 persons.
