Our Family Recipe For Pacific Saury Kabayaki

  1. Filet the fish and remove the small bones (if they bother you).
  2. Cut each filet into 3 pieces.
  3. Combine the ingredients marked .
  4. Dust each piece of fish with flour (use a tea strainer) and pan fry in a heated frying pan in oil, starting from the skin side.
  5. When both sides of the fish pieces are browned, add the combined ingredients.
  6. Simmer while coating the fish with the sauce as it reduces.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and it's done.
  8. It's delicious as a rice bowl as well.
