Mike's Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad

  1. In a skillet fry bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels and set aside.
  2. Cauliflower, broccoli and onion should be chopped into small pieces, and tossed together in a large bowl.
  3. (Think cole slaw texture).
  4. In a small bowl combine mayo, sugar and vinegar.
  5. Stir to combine.
  6. Pour dressing over veggies, and mix well.
  7. Crumble bacon and add with cheese and mix again.
  8. Serve cold.
  9. I would estimate you would need about a pound to a pound-and-a-half each of the cauliflower and broccoli and about a half of an onion.
  10. Cheddar cheese in what they usually use, but feel free to try any bold flavor cheese.
