Fruit Salad With Green Tea Kanten

  1. In a saucepan bring water, salt and agar agar flakes (Kanten) to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2 minutes.
  3. Turn off heat.
  4. Place tea bag in the pan, and steep 2 minutes.
  5. Remove the tea bag and discard.
  6. Pour the hot liquid into a small, square, shallow dish.
  7. Set aside until gelled then cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
  8. Place the fruit in a serving bowl and mix.
  9. Gently toss in the green tea cubes and serve.
