Canadian Baked Woodcock Recipe
- 3 x Woodcock - (3 to 4) per person Lowfat milk Flour seasoned with Salt to taste, and Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste Butter Sweet or possibly lowfat sour cream
- Split each bird, then dip into lowfat milk and dredge with seasoned flour.
- Brown in melted butter.
- Arrange in a shallow casserole and cover with sweet or possibly lowfat sour cream.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 min, or possibly till tender.
