vegan caesar dressing Recipe sweetbeetandgreenbean
- 1/4 c pine nuts, soaked
- 2 tbsp dijion mustard
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c water
- the juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 tbsp of tamari, soy sauce or liquid aminos
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper
- start by soaking the pine nuts for at least one hour until they are soft.
- drain the water and add them to a food processor.
- add all other ingredients to the food processor and pulse for a minute or two, until well mixed.
- thats all!
- simply toss into a salad, traditionally made of romaine lettuce and croutons, maybe garnished with slices or tomato, lemon, or avocado.
- i used black kale and it complimented the dark leafy green well.
